You can participate in the Beacon Trade Loyalty Program:
Instore by using your BTLP Digital Card and/or using your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate if you want to (see details in section 14) at checkout at the time of purchase. If you do not have your BTLP Digital Card (e.g. you don’t have your phone with you), our staff may provide you with access to your BTLP Benefits if you can provide them with satisfactory identification (e.g. photo identification);
Online by logging into the Website and/or using your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate if you want to (see details in section 14) at the checkout before purchasing Product(s) and/or Services.
11. What are the BTLP Benefits and how can you access these?
If you participate in the Beacon Trade Loyalty Program, you can access the following BTLP Benefits:
BTLP Discount;
BTLP Design Benefits; and
Beacon Cash rebate.
Each of the BTLP Benefits cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or promotions available at the time, unless we specify that it can be used in conjunction with a particular offer or promotion (e.g. Beacon Cash rebate may be used in conjunction with the BTLP Discount – see details in section 12).
In order to access the BTLP Benefits instore you will need to use your BTLP Digital Card (see details in section 10) at checkout (e.g. give your BTLP Digital Card or BTLP Membership details together with satisfactory identification (e.g. photo identification) to our staff before purchasing Product(s) and/or Services or when booking a consultation in connection with the BTLP Design Benefits).
In order to access the BTLP Benefits online you will need to log in to the Website and:
Add the Product(s) and/or Services you wish to purchase to your shopping cart and follow the instructions to check out; or
Make a booking for a consultation in connection with the BTLP Design Benefits by following the instructions.
If purchasing Product(s) and/or Services:
Instore, our staff member at the checkout will let you know how much accumulated Beacon Cash rebate you have available. You can then choose the amount of your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate (if any) you would like to use to pay for the Product(s) and/or Services;
Online, when you proceed to check out and select your ‘Payment method’ you can select the amount of your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate (if any) you would like to use to pay for the Product(s) and/or Services.
Although prices of Product(s) and/or Services for our trade customers are displayed exclusive of GST, you are required to pay the GST on the Product(s) and/or Services and you can use your Beacon Cash rebate to pay the GST.
Any amount of your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate that you use to pay for Product(s) and/or Services, will be deducted from your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate balance. If the price of the Product(s) and/or Services you wish to purchase (including the GST payable by you on the Product(s) and/or Services):
Is less than your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate balance, the remainder of your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate (if any) will be retained for you to use;
Is more than your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate balance, then you will need to pay the additional amount owing using one of the other payment methods available instore or online (whichever applies).
For example, if your order total is $330 including GST and you have $330 in accumulated Beacon Cash rebate, you can choose to pay for your order using the entire Beacon Cash rebate amount. If your order total is $330 including GST and you only have $200 in accumulated Beacon Cash rebate, you will need to pay the remaining $130 with one of the other payment methods available.
If you return Product(s) purchased using the BTLP Discount in exchange for a refund, the refund will be:
For the amount paid by you for the Product(s) including the GST paid by you (i.e. discounted price including GST paid by you) and not the recommended retail price (which price includes GST) (RRP) or already discounted retail price of the Product(s) which may have been used to calculate the BTLP Discount;
Paid to you using the same method you used to pay for the Product(s) (e.g. your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate and/or another payment method if applicable).
For example if you purchased a fan for $165 including GST using your BTLP Discount and the RRP is $220, and you return the fan, you will receive a refund of what you paid, that is, the discounted price of the fan of $150 plus the GST paid by you of $15 and not the RRP of $220. If you paid the $165 via credit card you will receive the refund to the same credit card. If you paid it using Beacon Cash rebate, it will be credited back into your Beacon Cash rebate balance. If you paid $50 using Beacon Cash rebate and the remaining $115 via credit card, $50 will be credited back to your Beacon Cash rebate balance and the other $115 will be refunded to the same credit card.
The BTLP Benefits are only available to you and not your family, friends, customers or clients.
Further details as to the BTLP Benefits are set out in sections 12 to 14.
You will be entitled to the lowest price we can offer you for the Product(s) (BTLP Discount) which could be -
5% off the GST inclusive already discounted retail price of the Product(s)* (i.e. if there is an existing offer or promotion available); or
the GST inclusive price of the Trade Essentials range of Product(s), whichever is the lower price.
Although the BTLP Discount is calculated on the GST inclusive price of RRP or already discounted retail price of Product(s), the prices of Product(s) for our trade customers are displayed exclusive of GST, and you are required to pay the GST on the Product(s).
* The discount to be applied to the IXL range of Product(s) will be 10% off the RRP, or 5% off the already discounted price, of the IXL Product(s), whichever is the lower price. All Services and Product(s) under the Mammoth Fans, Amazon, Google, Philips Hue, LIFX and GE Imagine brands are excluded from the BTLP Discount.
Further details as to the BTLP Discount are set out in section 11.
We may, acting reasonably, make changes to the BTLP Discount (e.g. percentage discount available on Product(s), list of Product(s) which are excluded from the BTLP Discount) at any time. How we will make these changes is set out in section 5.
You can access our lighting design consultation services in our studio (valued at $250) or in your own home, office or work site in person or via video call (valued at $100) (BTLP Design Benefits) at no charge by booking instore or online at beaconlighting.com.au/trade/trade-design

How do you accumulate Beacon Cash rebate?
You accumulate Beacon Cash rebate when you use your BTLP Digital Card instore or by logging into the Website, and you purchase any Product(s) other than Beacon Lighting gift cards.
For information on how you can accumulate Beacon Cash rebate through the Beacon Trade Referral Program you can visit us on https://www.beaconlighting.com.au/client-referral-terms
At what rate will you accumulate Beacon Cash rebate?
The Beacon Cash Rate is a percentage of the amount actually paid by you for Product(s) purchased instore using your BTLP Digital Card or online when you log in to the Website, being the price inclusive of GST. From time to time you may accumulate Beacon Cash rebate other than through purchases (e.g. if we run a special promotion) (Bonus Beacon Cash rebate). When we give you notice about Bonus Beacon Cash rebate, we will let you know if there are any terms and conditions which apply specifically to that Bonus Beacon Cash rebate, which will override anything in these Ts&Cs.
Can we change the value of your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate and/or change the rate at which you earn Beacon Cash rebate?
We may, acting reasonably, make changes to the Beacon Cash Value (i.e. value of Beacon Cash rebate which you have already accumulated) and/or Beacon Cash Rate (i.e. rate at which Beacon Cash rebate is calculated in the future) at any time. How we will make these changes is set out in section 5.
When will Beacon Cash rebate show up in your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate balance?
It may take up to 24 hours after a transaction, for the Beacon Cash rebate for that transaction to show up in your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate balance.
How can you check how much accumulated Beacon Cash rebate you have?
You can find your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate balance and other information (e.g. expiry date(s) or details of transactions by using your BTLP Digital Card instore or logging in to the Website Beacon Trade - Login | Apply For An Account | Beacon Lighting or by contacting us (contact details are set out in section 4).
It may take up to 24 hours after a transaction, for the Beacon Cash rebate for that transaction to show up in your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate balance.
When and how can you use Beacon Cash rebate?
You can start using your Beacon Cash rebate immediately once it is earned. If there is no Activity in the next 12 months, then your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate will expire at that point (see details on expiry of Beacon Cash rebate in the section “Will your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate expire?”).
Bonus Beacon Cash rebate may be subject to other terms and conditions (see details in the section “At what rate will you accumulate Beacon Cash rebate?”).
Beacon Cash rebate will not accumulate on purchases made using Beacon Cash rebate. For example, if you purchase Product(s) for $300 and you use $100 of your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate to pay for those Product(s), then you will only accumulate Beacon Cash rebate on the remaining $200 for that transaction.
Beacon Cash rebate can be used to purchase Product(s), including Beacon Trade workwear, pay any amount owing on your Beacon trade credit account balance and/or to pay for Services, instore or online, including Beacon Lighting gift cards.
Beacon Cash rebate may be used in conjunction with the BTLP Discount. For example, if you have $200 in accumulated Beacon Cash rebate and the fan you are buying is $200 after applying the BTLP Discount, you can use your $200 Beacon Cash rebate to pay for this transaction.
Further details as to the accumulation and use of Beacon Cash rebate are set out in section 11.
We may, acting reasonably, make changes to Beacon Cash rebate (e.g. Beacon Cash Value, Beacon Cash Rate) at any time. How we will make these changes is set out in section 5.
Who can use your Beacon Cash rebate?
In a Primary/Secondary Setup (details are set out in section 7) only the Primary Account Holder can use the accumulated Beacon Cash rebate. In an Independent Setup (details are set out in section 7), each Account Holder can use their accumulated Beacon Cash rebate.

Your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate will not expire as long as there is Activity every 12 months. For example if you have $200 accumulated Beacon Cash rebate and –
there have been no purchases under the Beacon Trade Loyalty Program or Beacon Trade Referral Program in the last 12 months, then the $200 accumulated Beacon Cash rebate will expire on the date being 12 months from the date of the last purchase;
you have made a purchase in the last 12 months, then you will retain the $200 accumulated Beacon Cash rebate and whatever other Beacon Cash rebate you have accumulated in the last 12 months and the new expiry date will be 12 months from the date of the last purchase.
Beacon Cash rebate cannot be used after it expires and expired Beacon Cash rebate will no longer appear in your accumulated Beacon Cash rebate balance.
Send us the email address or mobile number of any of your retail customers and we will send them a code so that they can access a 20% discount off the recommended retail price of products* and lighting design consultation services at no charge*.
